The average inc¬rease in dry matter yield of tomatoe plant at 0, 1.5, 20; 50; 100; 200 and. 500 ppm N was 0. 49, 77; 97; 100; 83; 16 and-21 % respectively. Where as th© average increase in dry matter yield of tomatoe plant at 0; 0.5; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0; 3.0; 4.0; 5.0 and 10 percent CaC03 levels was." 0, 23, 30; 11; -54; -50; -21 -27 and 7 percent respectively.
