Summary from only given. The pump source was a continuous-wave external-cavity diode laser followed by an erbium-doped fiber amplifier. The pump wavelength was tunable from 1530 nm to 1560 nm, and the pump power was 26 mW. We focused the pump beam to the center of the LiNbO/sub 3/ aperiodic optical superlattice.
