A method of removing acidic compounds from a gaseous effluent with an absorbent solution based on diamines belonging to the family of 1,3-diamino-2-propanol

2014
Disclosed is a method for removing acid compounds contained in a gaseous effluent by contacting in an absorption column (101) a gaseous effluent (1) with an aqueous absorbing solution (2) comprising one or more diamines belonging to the family of 1,3-diamino-2-propanol and having the formula (a) below: the method comprises a regeneration of the absorbent solution step enriched in acidic compounds obtained after contacting in column ( 101), and a water washing step in a specific section (100) of the absorption column (101) for limiting the amount of diamine entrained in the treated gas. The method of the invention limits the amount of absorbing solution used.
