The invention relates to a fluid valve (8), in particular recirculation valve (8) for the return of residual color, detergent and compressed air from a paint supply line (5) during a color change in a paint shop (1), with an opening position in which the fluid valve (8), at least is partially open, in particular for washing the paint line (5) to the detergent and for pressing the ink pipe (5) with a new color in the color change, and a closed position in which the fluid valve (8) is closed, in particular for applying the new color after color change, wherein the fluid valve (8) is adjustable between the open position and the closed position. It is proposed that the fluid valve (8) in response to the input side of fluid pending self-medium operated switches in the closed position.
