Nanocomposite polymer film for antibiofouling materials surfaces

Abstract Nanotechnology is the technological field that focused on new materials, components, and products produced by processes on the nanoscale, strictly speaking on atomic scale or the nanoscale. This new field contains broad areas from semiconductors in the electronic industry to medical technology in medical science. Additionally, it is still producing many new industrial fields. In this chapter, we described antibiofouling properties of nanoparticles. Particularly, biofilms caused by bacterial activities were explained in the relation with nanoparticles.
