A comprehensive approach to reviewing the condition of 22 kv cables in prague

The market economy implementation in the power industry has brought higher requirements for the electric distribution network operators to be aware of the condition of their operated cables. A reliable detection of the cable network condition can be done only by a comprehensive analysis of all available information on cables. A Czech Republic electric utility in Prague, has established, as a part of its operation and technical department, a section called "Diagnostics and Measurement" in 1999 to perform diagnostic cable measuring and testing, information on cables, and to analyse measurements and the related information.
