Suitability Evaluation of Shallow Geothermal Energy in Zhumadian

2014
Shallow geothermal energy is a renewable and environmentally clean new energy. Its application has certain requirements for geological conditions in Zhumadian city. Based on the analysis of geological and groundwater conditions, and combined with features of both ground-water source heat pumps and ground-source heat pump system, respectively, the influencing factors of ground-water source heat pump are determined, namely groundwater, groundwater level decline, ground water floor outflow, groundwater recharge, water temperature, salinity; the factors affecting soil source heat pump are determined, namely the fourth line thickness, total thickness of aquifer, gravel layer thickness, average soil temperature, average coefficient of thermal conductivity of soil, topography. The suitability is evaluated for the shallow geothermal resources in Zhumadian city as design reference in the region.
