Assessment of single cell protein from methanol-grown yeast

The feasibility of producing SCP from yeasts grown on methanol is discussed with a consideration of selection of the yeast, catabolism of the methanol, selection of an optimum dilution rate, and selection of an optimum temperature. The discussion cites research needed in this area. (JSR)
