SOME CONSIDERATIONS CONCERNING THE PERFORMANCES OF FAST RESPONSE PHOTOMULTIPLIERS

Criteria for determining photomultiplier response are given, and experimental methods for studying the output pulses of these tubes are described briefly. The results obtained with 4 types of fast response photomultipliers are used for comparing performances and as a guide for choosing the tube according to the application considered. (OID)
