Calathea leonoriae (Marantaceae), una Nueva Especie

2016
Calathea leonoriae Lascur., H. Oliva & Avendano (Marantaceae) is described and illustrated as a new species from Veracruz, Mexico. It is morphologically close to C. ovandensis Matuda, which is only known from Mexico, differing only in plant size and growth habit, as well as in the size and the way in which the inflorescence emerges.
