Mathematical dynamic model of the continuous bubble column slurry reactor
1990
Abstract A generally usable mathematical dynamic model of the continuous bubble column slurry reactor and its computer program is presented. The axial dispersion flow of a liquid and power law expression for the reaction kinetics are the main assumptions used in this model. The collocation method for solving partial differential equations and the third-order semi-implicit Runge—Kutta method for solving ordinary differential equations were employed. Results from modelling a reactor for hydrogenation alkylation of 4-aminodiphenylamine by acetone are given.
