Furthermore, the invention relates to a control device (2) for controlling a machine (1), wherein the control means (1) is so designed that they by means of a machining block (11a, 11b, 11c) having the control program (10) controls the machining process, wherein a during the execution of the machining block (11, 11b, 11c) occurring process information is stored machining-block basis. The invention thus provides an easy way to optimize the machining process in a machine.
