Processo de tomada de decisão em gerenciamento da terapia medicamentosa

Pharmaceutical care is a professional practice that proposes a rational decision making process about pharmacotherapy within a well defined theoretical framework. Considering the importance of this process for the consolidation of the practice, the aim of this research is to understand how pharmacits' decision making process occurs in the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services. This study will be developed using the grounded theory methodology, in which through the establishment of plausible relationships of concepts and sets of concepts, it seeks to build a theory. A theoretical model will be the end product of this study and may assist in the improvement of educational approaches of the decision making process in pharmaceutical care practice, and become a reference for MTM practitioners.
