Temperature dependence of ΔEQ for iron(IV) compounds in strong crystal field

An expression has been derived for the temperature dependence of ΔEQ for d4 iron(IV) species in a strong crystal field. This expression has been used to interpret Mossbauer data for some diarsine and dithiocarbamato iron(IV) chelates.
