The Hospital Pharmacy is an essential area inserted in a hospital unit since the most remote times. The standardization of medications in hospitals seeks to select medications that address the therapeutic needs of the population that wishes to attend. The analysis of mental disorders that represent a health problem of social importance is essential. The central objective is based on performing a pharmaceutical analysis of standardized drugs in a psychiatric hospital in Teresina-PI. With the specific objectives of analyzing, identifying and characterizing standardized medications regarding the ATC curve (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical), regarding the existence of thermolabile medications and the presence of potentially dangerous medications (MPPs), and those related to the risk of falling patient. Where it was possible to characterize the standardized medicines according to the ATC classification, the largest number of medicines belonging to class C of medicines that act on the cardiovascular system was found, representing 15% of the total. And thermolabile drugs where insulins were the most prevalent, occupying 25% of these drugs belonging to the hospital. As for drugs associated with risk of falling, it was possible to obtain that 37% are associated with these risks.
