Belle electromagnetic calorimeter and its sBelle upgrade

Electromagnetic calorimeter for the Belle experiment on KEKB asymmetric e+e- collider is being operated successfully for 9 years. In this presentation, systems and operation of the calorimeter are described. The belle detector will be upgraded to cope with higher luminosity running of KEKB collider aiming for accumulating 10 ab_1. In this talk, a plan of electromagnetic calorimeter upgrade will also be shown.
