HDPE/EAA/GF/CB四元抗静电复合体系性能研究

2009
A new type of high density polyethylene (HDPE)/etylen acrylic acid co-polymer (EAA)/glass fiber (GF)/carbon black (CB) four-multiple antistatic composite with low-carbon content was prepared by means of in-situ compounding. The electrical and mechanical properties of the prepared composite were studied. The results of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) indicated GF was enwrapped by EAA, forming a large fiber structure and scattered in HDPE; there was obvious interface between EAA and HDPE, which made the double-percolation threshold of the composite, resulted in significant decrease of volume resistivity of the composite. The influence of the contents of CB and GF on the mechanical properties of the composite was studied. The tensile strength of the composite increased by 20 MPa with the addition of the fibers.
