FOR A SIGNAL CONTROLLED ROAD NETWORK OF GIVEN GEOMETRY AND TRAFFIC LOAD, A MODEL FOR THE CALCULATION OF AN OPTIMAL SIGNAL PROGRAM IS DESCRIBED.
