Server monitoring method and apparatus

The present invention discloses a server monitoring method and apparatus. The method comprises: monitoring status information of each sub-device in each chassis of a server in real time, wherein the status information is used as data information; data processing modules respectively obtaining the data information corresponding to each chassis, and storing the data information in an internal buffer together, and providing a control center with an information access interface; and the control center obtaining the data information stored by the data processing modules, and monitoring and performing fault detection on the server in real time. The server monitoring method and apparatus improve real-time performance of the server in monitoring each sub-device such as an internal computing node, a storage node, a switch module, and a fan, so that a device fault can be detected and handled effectively in time, thereby improving availability and reliability of the server.
