How an Automated System to Identify Children at Risk for High Radiation Exposure from Computed Tomography Can Be Used to Inform Research and Clinical Practice

Introduction: Computed tomography (CT) is the largest source of ionizing radiation to patients from medical imaging. Previously, we reported the accuracy of a technology that we developed to merge a patients’ radiation exposure data with electronic health record (EHR) data.
