STUDY ON MIXED SYSTEM OF ZWITTERIONIC AND ANIONIC SURFACTANTS

The formation of ability of cmc,the influence of different inorganic salt on cmc and foamability of the mixed system of zwitterionic/ anionic surfactants(CAB/LAS) has been investigated.It is found that when the mole ratio of LAS to CAB is about 5∶5～2∶8,especially when the ratio of 3∶7,the surface activity shows a maximum.The experiment indicated that the foamability was enhanced and the cmc value of the mixed system was reduced with the increase of inorganic salt concentration,but the foamability was weakened when the salts were applied at higher concentration and different electric charge number of the inorganic salt has different foamability effect on the mixed system: Na+Mg2+Al3+.
