Pestoban, a Potent Herbal Molluscicide

ABSTRACT The herbal pesticide Pestoban is a liquid concentrate of some Indian medicinal plants which is also a potent molluscicide. Its toxic effect against the snail L. acuminata is time as well as dose dependent. Its molluscicidal activity is higher than synthetic molluscicides. The dose levels used against the snail are safe for fish.
