Method for cleaning tubular filtration membrane

2015
Provided is a method for cleaning a tubular filtration membrane with which it is possible to reduce the frequency of chemical cleaning and suppress a long-term increase in pressure loss even after chemical cleaning. In this method for cleaning a tubular filtration membrane, in the peripheral section of which are formed fine holes for filtration, a liquid cleaning step, in which the tubular filtration membrane is cleaned by pressure-feeding a cleaning liquid in the direction opposite the filtration direction of raw liquid, and a gas cleaning step, in which the tubular filtration membrane is cleaned by pressure-feeding a cleaning gas in the direction opposite the filtration direction of the raw liquid, are repeated in a prescribed cycle, and contaminant components, such as colloidal particles, that remained inside the fine holes at the liquid cleaning step, are discharged with the cleaning water in tandem with the movement of the gas-liquid interface formed by the cleaning gas fed after the liquid cleaning step.
