Test device and method for evaluating compressibility of shale reservoir by virtue of acoustic emission

2014
The invention provides a test device and a test method for evaluating the compressibility of a shale reservoir by virtue of acoustic emission. The device comprises a cylindrical sealed container, a shale core positioned in the container and concrete filling a space between the inner wall of the container and the shale core, wherein a through hole is formed in the end face of the container; acoustic emission probes are arranged on the outer side wall of the container; a hole is drilled into the shale core through the through hole, liquid is pumped into the hole, and then space distribution in which the slit is evolved with time and which is used for evaluating the compressibility of the shale core can be obtained according to acoustic emission signals acquired by the acoustic emission probes. According to the test device and the test method for evaluating the compressibility of the shale reservoir by virtue of acoustic emission, a seamed web form of fractured shale can be visibly and reliably observed, so that the compressibility of the shale core can be accurately and reliably evaluated.
