PENGARUH SUHU SEKITAR TERHADAP PEMBEBANAN TRANSFORMATOR DISTRIBUSI 20KV DI PLN UP3 BANDENGAN

2020
The distribution transformer is an important equipment in the electric power system. Transformers in industrial customers have peak load times during the day and outside peak load times at night, this is found in SPLN 17: 1979. Whereas in industrial customers the use of daytime loads is higher than the use of night loads. The factors causing the reduced life of the transformer are the effect of loading, the effect of ambient temperature, the temperature of the transformer winding and the temperature of the transformer oil. The 630 kVA transformer can be loaded 100% at a temperature of about 20 ℃, but conditions in Indonesia with a temperature of about 30 ℃ can only be continuously loaded 90% for the normal life span of a transformer of 20 years. In MK343 substation transformer with a peak load of 54.21%, it is estimated that the remaining life of the transformer is 142 years or> 20 years. Meanwhile, the A59 substation transformer with a peak load of 31.1% is estimated that the remaining life of the transformer is 200 years or> 20 years. So it can be said that the transformer is still in accordance with the standards and in good condition because it does not cause problems in the life of the transformer.
