Hypertrophic Protein‐Losing Gastritis (Ménétrier's Disease) Treated with Cimetidine

. A man aged 46 developed Mene trier's disease with massive hypertrophic gastritis and significantly elevated gastrointestinal protein clearance. During treatment with cimetidine the protein loss decreased markedly and the gastric mucosa normalized.
