A state-of-the-art of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies: diffusion perspectives and barriers

2003
If the 20th century drank immoderately at the fountain of fossil fuels, the 21st century might have to change these comfortable habits for two major reasons: the progressive drying out of resources which are easy to exploit (oil, natural gas) the environmental constraints resulting from the damaging effects of the increasing green house effect and the ensuing regulation which will strongly limit the future use of carbon dioxide emitting energies.
