Coherent Optics for Data Center Networks

Coherent technology has been widely used in metro data center networks, and will penetrate into shorter links and even intra-data center interconnects for beyond-400G networks due to its sensitivity and impairment compensation capability. Various techniques are discussed to reduce the complexity and power consumption for coherent optics.
