Possible determination of isomerization modes probabilities by A multiple resonance method

We show that multiple resonance is a possible tool to determine relative probabilities of isomerization modes in the MA4B ligand partition of the trigonal bipyramid. Distinguishability criteria are derived. The scope and limitations of the method are discussed.
