Studies on chemical constituents from the flower of Albizzia julibrissin Durazz

Objective:To study the chemical constituents in the flower of Albizzia julibrissin .Method:Chromatographic and spectroscopic analyses were used to isolate and elucidate the chemical constituents in the plant.Result:Two compounds were isolated from the petroleum ether and ethyl acetate fractions of the flower and identified as tetracosanoic acid and quercitrin.Conclusion:These two compounds were obtained from the plant for the first time.
