Surface Organometallic Chemistry

The focus of this chapter is on surface organometallic chemistry. The important classes of heterogeneous catalysts based on single-atom active sites dispersed on oxide supports or metal particles are treated in detail. The chemistry of organometallic reagents with oxide supports and metal particles is covered. The catalytic properties of these systems are also discussed.
