Microsurgery in anastomosis of small vessels.

The new techniques developed for performance of vascular anastomosis under the dissecting microscope enable successful arterial surgery in vessels below 4mm. in diameter. Equipment and techniques are described in this very brief article reporting on microsurgical experiments conducted on laboratory animals.
