Arrangement and method for determining the oxygen partial pressure in a gas mixture

The invention relates to an arrangement and a method for determining the oxygen partial pressure in a gas mixture. The object of the invention is to provide possibilities for determining the partial pressure of oxygen in gas mixtures, in which increase the measurement accuracy and sensitivity, and with which a high stability with respect. The output signal is to be measured is possible. In the inventive arrangement, a measuring electrode and a reference electrode on opposite surfaces of a solid electrolyte are arranged. The gas mixture is fed into a measuring chamber and a reference gas contained in a reference chamber, so that the measuring electrode with the gas mixture and the reference electrode with the reference gas in contact. The measuring electrode, solid electrolyte and reference electrode are disposed within a hollow cylinder formed in the form of a heating element formed from a heat conductive material and to which a controllable electrical resistance heating is provided with at least one electrical conductor track.
