Introduction of bis(methylenebis(1,4-phenylene))sulfamic acid as a new halogen-free acidic catalyst and it's usage in the synthesis of new xanthene-based heterocyclic compounds

2019
In this work a new sulfamic acid based solid phase catalyst was synthesized by using chlorosolfonic acid and methylene di aniline in a simple manner, its structure characterized and verified then it used at the designed reaction for the synthesis of the new xanthene derivatives for its catalytic capability evaluation. The mentioned catalyst is better than the other ones from the points of simple using at solid phase and also being free of environmental pollutant halogens. The results of its evaluation verified its capability for improving the reactions which they need acidic catalyst to perform. Finally some new compounds are synthesized using this catalyst for first time in good yields. The structures of the new compounds were verified using FT-IR, H-NMR and C-NMR spectroscopy.
