Energy levels in 197Tl populated in the 197Au(3He, 3nγ)197Tl reaction

Abstract Singles and delayed spectra, coincidence relations and angular distribution of γ-rays emitted in the 197 Au( 3 He, 3nγ) 197 Tl reaction were measured by means of Ge(Li) detectors. The excited states are discussed alternatively as rotational band built on the 9 2 − [505] Nilsson state and in terms of the triaxial-rotor-plus-particle model.
