New generation of Raman fiber lasers, based on phosphosilicate fibers

Summary form only given. We have demonstrated the possibility of use of a P-doped silica fiber as an efficient Raman gain medium in a wide wavelength range. A three-cascaded 1407 nm Raman laser was developed with an output power of 1 W.
