Superscan is defined as a special appearance of bone scan, characterized by homogeneous and symmetrical increased uptake of bone radiopharmaceuticals in the skeleton. That appearance has been described as “too good” or beautiful scan and it include some features as faint or absent renal images, presence of some nonhomogeneity of tracer uptake throughout the skeleton, and faint representation of skull and long bones.
