The method comprises: in response to an operation of displaying, in a web page, playing of a video played by a video player, acquiring the size of a first screen of a browser in real time; and setting the size of the player according to the size of the first screen of the browser, so that the whole player is displayed in a first-screen page of the browser. The player displayed in the first screen of the browser adaptively changes as the size of the page of the browser changes, so that a user can always watch a complete player image.
