THE CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED BY A REACTOR FOR ITS AUTOMATION

The characteristics of a reactor soon after lts shutdown were studled in onder to establish the conditions of its start-up and of the behavlor in the automatic start-up. The variation of the reactivity, the neutron source, and the sensitivity of the measurement devices were analyzed. By the use of compensated ionizatlon chambers, the automatic system is not affected by the conditions of a startup after shut-down. (tr-auth)
