Synthesis of nanocrystalline La{sub 0,5}Sr{sub 0,5}Co{sub 0,9}Fe{sub 0,1}O{sub 3} via conventional hydrothermal method; Sintese de La{sub 0,5}Sr{sub 0,5}Co{sub 0,9}Fe{sub 0,1}O{sub 3} nanocristalino via metodo hidrotermal convencional

2011
La{sub 0,5}Sr{sub 0,5}Co{sub 0,9}Fe{sub 0,1}O{sub 3} (LSCF) powders were obtained via conventional hydrothermal synthesis at 150 degree C by using crystallization time from 5 to 9 h. As prepared powders were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (ATG) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Effects of crystallization time and calcining temperature on particles structure and morphology were evaluated by XRD and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Rietveld refinement of diffraction data indicated the presence of 87 wt.% of LSCF phase with rhombohedral symmetry (spatial group R¯3 c) and crystallite size of 54 nm after calcination at 900 degree C for 4 h. The presence of secondary phases, especially SrLaCoO{sub 4}, shows strongly relation with the crystallization time, exhibiting evidences of reduction for periods shorter than 5 h. (author)
