Treatment of carbamazepine poisoning by combined hemodialysis/hemoperfusion

A severe carbamazepine intoxication in a 45-year-old woman was treated with combined hemodialysis/hemoperfusion. Serum carbamazepine levels were determined by fluorescence polarization immunoassay.
