Clinical study of color Doppler flow imaging in the diagnose of Budd-Chiari syndrome.

2010
Objective To evaluate the clinical value of color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI)in the diagnosing of Budd-Chiari syndrome. Methods CDFI was performed in 19 BCS patients in one week before digital substraction angiography (DSA). By comparing and analyzing the results of DSA and CDFI,the performance and characteristic of BCS in CDFI were summarized. Results A total of 7 cases had hepatic veines(HVs)obstruction merely, and 12 cases had obstruction in both of the inferior vena cava and HVs. The diagnosis of 19 cases of BCS were all confirmed by CDFI. The diagnosis coincidence was 100%. Conclusion The accuracy rate of diagnosing BCS through CDFI was high. CDFI might be an important noninvasive clinical examination method.
