Serious Neurologic Events after Epidural Glucocorticoid Injection — The FDA's Risk Assessment

Since 2014, injectable glucocorticoid product labels in the United States must carry a warning regarding the risk of serious neurologic events. After weighing the evidence and feedback from an advisory committee, the FDA has decided not to modify that warning.
