Synthesis and Application of Magnetic Liposomes

Magnetic liposomes are prepared from liposome encapsulating magnetic nanoparticles.They have been investigated extensively for their good drug-carrying property,magnetic targeting ability and biocompatibility.The synthesis methods of magnetic liposomes are introduced.The applications of magnetic liposomes in targeting me-dicine,hyperthermia and contrast agents are summarized.Finally,the future prospects of magnetic liposomes are also discussed.
