Short paperAnalyse de la nitrosodiethanolamine dans les produits de l'industrie cosmetique
1981
The method described for determining N-nitrosodiethanolamine (NDELA) in cosmetic products involves the evaporation of water from the sample in the presence of a nitrosation-inhibiting agent, followed by purification of the sample on a silica-gel column. NDELA levels are then determined by high-pressure liquid chromatography coupled to a TEA detector. This procedure has been used to estimate NDELA in several raw materials and finished products from the cosmetics industry.
