Malignant carcinoid tumor of the colon.

Abstract A case is presented in which an adenocarcinoma and a malignant carcinoid tumor occurred in the same area of the transverse colon. Only three cases of carcinoid tumor of the transverse colon have been reported in the literature and in two of these cases the tumor was malignant. The case reported herein is added to the literature.
