A method for preventing faulty operation of an electric power system based on wireless communication comprises a fault-preventing host machine, at least one fault-preventing lock and a lock controller connected to the fault-preventing lock by a communication cable. The fault-preventing host machine is provided with a main control module, a first communication module and a logic check module. The lock controller is provided with a second communication module and a control module. The first communication module and the second communication module realize the data transmission of the fault-preventing host machine and the lock controller. Compared with the prior art, the lock controller and the fault-preventing host machine of the invention realize the data transmission by using a Zigbee wireless communication network. The lock controller can directly control opening and closing of the lock, so the operation of opening and closing the lock can be performed without manual intervention. The lock controller real-time acquires the spot state of the lock and device and feeds back to the fault-preventing host machine, for ensuring the proper operation of device and lock and promoting the reliability and the safety of the spot operation.
