Relationship Between Sowing Date and Quality Traits in Different Rice Varieties

Based on the experiment with 6 varieties and 4 sowingdates, the variable parameters of rice quality traits among sowingdates and years were analyzed. The results showed that Shennong 315, Oou 316 and Shennong 9457 adapted to delaying sowing through general evaluating for the qualities of different sowingdates. Chalkiness was the main reason for postponing sowingtime and quality im-proving rice in Liaoning Province. The chalkiness degree of the varieties decreased with postponement of sowingtime. Daily temperature difference in filling period and effective accumulation temperature after heading had large effects on the quality. There were some rela-tionships between filling rate and chalkiness.
