Precast block method

1997
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability by interposing the adhesive containing the prescribed quantity of polyketimine compound in the epoxy resin between concrete members for integration. SOLUTION: During work execution, concrete blocks 4 are arranged on a girder assembled on e.g. a supporting 1, the adhesive is applied to an abutting surface 4a of an end part of each block 4, and a post-tension cable is tensioned to adhere the blocks 4 to each other for integration. Then, the adhesive to be used is the epoxy resin adhesive consisting of the polyketimine compound having >=2 ketimine radicals in the molecule, and the epoxy resin. In addition, the epoxy resin adhesive contains 0.5-3 equivalent of polyketimine compound to 100 pts.wt. epoxy resin to the active hydrogen equivalent to the epoxy radical contained in the epoxy resin. The working efficiency can be improved, the working period can be shortened, and the working environment can be improved because the conventional amine compound is not used.
