Anti-oxidation polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses anti-oxidation polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin and a preparation method of the anti-oxidation PVB resin. The anti-oxidation PVB resin is prepared by using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), acid solution, n-butanal and antioxidants are raw materials through acetalation reaction. The following raw materials in percentage by weight are adopted: 55 percent to 69 percent of PVA, 5 percent to 10 percent of acid solution, 25 percent to 35 percent of n-butanal and 0.01 percent to 0.2 percent of antioxidants. The preparation method comprises the following steps of :(1) taking the PVA with the total weight parts of 55 percent to 69 percent and heating the PVA until all PVA is dissolved; (2) adding the acid solution with the total weight parts of 5 percent to 10 percent and the n-butanal with the total weight parts of 25 percent to 35 percent; (3) carrying out still standing and neutralization on the separated precipitates in the second step; (4) adding the antioxidants with the total weight parts of 0.01 percent to 0.2 percent; and (5) filtering and baking the separated precipitates. The anti-oxidation PVB resin and the preparation method have the beneficial effects that the quality stability is better, the excellent performance of high transparency is realized, the production cost is reduced, and the environment is protected.
